The healing process after laser treatment

During the treatment itself, the patient may experience a slight burning sensation, which can be alleviated by cooling the skin or applying an anesthetic cream before the procedure if the skin is sensitive.

Immediately after the treatment, there may be temporary changes in skin color, and later the formation of small scabs that may persist for several days. After the procedure, it is important to protect the treated area from sunlight and to apply cream as recommended by the doctor for a few days. The patient may experience mild swelling, redness, and occasional scabbing, which will resolve over 3-5 days.

During subsequent sessions of laser therapy, the tattoo's color will gradually fade, while maintaining the skin's natural structure. Although the visible effect is immediate, repeating the procedure is often necessary. The number of sessions depends on the intensity, depth, and extent of the tattoo, usually ranging from 4 to 8 sessions, with intervals typically of 4-6 weeks.
